ROdist rotary evaporators combine an ergonomic, compact design with
innovative functions to create a high-performance instrument with improved
operating results. The versatile, space-saving design is highlighted by an
integrated heating bath and the option of vertical or diagonal glassware
components.
Safe and simple instrument operation is conducted through an ergonomically
shaped control unit on the front of each instrument. Control units feature a
digital speed display, and offer a timer function for time lapse controls.
Evaporators are equipped with a 50W brushless DC drive motor. Right and left
movement in interval operation is provided for the drying process. The
motorized lift has a stroke displacement of 140mm. It is equipped with a
safety stop function that will automatically lift the evaporator piston out of
the heating bath if power is lost. A smooth start function (from 100rpm)
prevents sample loss due to splashing or rocking. A push-off mechanism is
included to help loosen tightly fitting pistons. Adjustable end position
recognition will prevent glassware damage or breakage. The instruments also
feature an infared interface for data transfer from the heating bath to the
drive unit, and an RS 232 interface for remote PC operation.
Evaporators are equipped with an RObath digital heating bath. Baths are
operated by a micro controller. To accommodate a variety of flask sizes, the
bath can be moved up to 50mm, and can function in stand alone applications.
The digital water-oil heated baths have integrated carrying handles, and will
heat quickly due to optimized bath volumes.
Evaporators meet IP 20 protection standards according to DIN EN 60529.
